The industry that has been chosen in this report is Food and Beverages Industry. The main aim of the report is to analyze the theories of teamwork that will help in completion of the different tasks and it will help in analyzing the usage of professional collaboration in the workplace. The main purpose of the report is to conduct different interviews of the professionals in the Food and Beverages industry and this will help in analyzing the occurrence of collaboration in the workplace. The structure of the report will include the different types of interviews as well as understanding the role of the professionals in the Food and Beverage industry. The proper analysis has to be conducted based on the academic research and this will help in understanding the key aspects as well. The chefs have been interviewed along with the other officials of the company in order to identify the different aspects of collaboration such as proper communication, trust factors has to be properly identified in this report. Interview The interview was conducted in a respective hotel with the head chef of the hotel. The interview was conducted with the chef in order to understand the different aspects of collaboration in the management of the hotel. Similarly, the importance of collaboration was understood properly as this will provide proper and clear picture about the aspects and importance of collaboration in the hotel industry. The interview was taken for around an hour that helped in understanding the importance of trust, communication, and validation of the roles as well. This helped in analyzing the importance of the collaborative approach in the food and beverages industry as well. From the interview, it was identified that collaboration of the activities in the organization can help in achieving success and this will help in taking proper final decisions as well (Boxall and Macky 2014). Summarizing the interview After the interview was conducted successfully, there were many outcomes that were generated from the interview for the executive chef of a respective hotel. From the interview, there were different things that have been analyzed properly that included the exact work of the chef as well as understanding the process of collaboration in the workplace (Hobson et al. 2014). From the interview, it was analyzed that collaboration or the team work plays an essential role in different kinds of industry and this will help in finishing the tasks within a specified time frame as well (Barsade and ONeill 2014). Furthermore, interview was conducted for executive chef who was the head of the department and the main task of the chef was to handle the day to day operations in the entire kitchen and managing the supervisors and the junior chefs of the hotel as well (Rayton and Yalabik 2014). The chef explained that it is the duty of the chef to handle the entire kitchen department and allocating the tasks equally among the supervisors of the team as well. The executive chef delegated the different tasks among the other supervisors as this will help them in finishing the task within stipulated time frame. This helped the chef in generating team work on the floor to complete the tasks successfully as well (Azanza et al. 2013). There are two journals that discusses about the importance of collaboration are as follows: From the two academic journals, it can be analyzed that proper collaboration is essential and plays a vital role in the different organizations. The interview that has been conducted previously helped in understanding the importance of team work in different fields and this will help in achieving goals effectively as well (Alegre et al. 2016). Analysis From the different kinds of interviews as well as different academic researches, it can be analyzed that proper collaboration is essential in the different kinds of organizations (Skaalvik and Skaalvik 2014). Professional collaboration occurs in the different organizations with proper Brainstorming as this will help in bringing the team members of the organization into a common platform and this will help them in achieving goals with different kinds of perspectives (Hlsheger et al. 2013) Equal Partaking is essential as this will help in providing different team members of the organization with equal opportunities to take part in different activities of the organization and communicate with their ideas as well (Braun et al. 2013) Providing proper value is essential in nature as this will inspire the members of the team to work towards the achievement of the same goal with proper sense of the purpose. There will be proper achievement of goals and it will help in receiving mutual benefits as well (Hanaysha and Tahir 2016) The businesses has to encourage and promote collaboration at the workplace as this will help in promoting self analysis among the different employees in the workplace and this will provide different kinds of challenges and articulation to the workers in the workplace as well. Collaboration helps in serving as the mirror as this will provide the members of the team a glimpse about the different strengths and weaknesses of their different competencies. It helps in teaching the different employees about the bigger picture as the two individuals can never be same and this will help in making the employees understand about the differences and making them aware of the differences in order to achieve proper results in the future (Abbas et al. 2014). Different advantages of collaboration It helps in increasing the efficiency of the individuals in the organizations and this will help in enabling the businesses to meet the crucial deadlines in the organization as well Secondly, collaboration helps in enhancing the retention of the employees as well as provides job satisfaction to the employees as well in the organizations. This will help the employees in the organization to continue working in the businesses for longer period and this will help the people in achieving proper goals as well (Chuang et al. 2016) Thirdly, collaboration will help in development of the skills of the employees in the organization as this will help in providing benefits to the entire organization as well as to the employees of the organization as well. This will help in providing all the employees in the organization to build their strengths properly and reduce their weaknesses in the organization as well. Conclusion Therefore, it can be concluded that the progressive organizations increasingly understand the proper value of the collaboration and this will helping the business to prosper in the competitive industry as well.
